My name is Heath Huffman.  I am the Co-Founder of Doodlekit and Co-Owner of Doodlebit, LLC.  This is my personal website and blog. Here you will find my opinionated commentary concerning all things webby.  I will cover topics like: web design, graphic design, Photoshop, SEO, CSS, XHTML/HTML, W3C, etc.  You will also find discussions that pertain to my personal interests and life experiences.  I may not post the most “life altering” or “earth shattering” discussions, but I do hope to entertain, enlighten and inform my readers of news and events I find insightful.

Sorry - I Don't Do Freelance Work Anymore!

No more freelancing for me! I 'm proud to say that I now work full-time for Doodlebit. What started out as a part-time project on the side for Ben and me has now grown into a full blown company that pays me a salary. Our main product, Doodlekit, keeps me busy full-time.

Some History

I spent 12 years working in Corporate America's IT departments before I was finally able to break away and start my own business in 2006. I learned more in the first two years of running my own IT Company than I did in those previous 12 years combined. New businesses start up every day - very few ever succeed. Surviving (and thriving) in a worldwide market on the internet is no simple task. Here, on this website/blog, I hope to share with you what I learn as I go. Maybe you will find a few nuggets of wisdom from my lessons learned and personal experiences... who knows?
